Glendale CA – July 17, 2012 – bTrade LLC, a leading provider of secure and managed file transfer technology solutions, announced today that it has been awarded the national certification as a “Minority Owned Business Enterprise” (MBE) by the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. Certification entitles bTrade to be listed in the national database of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). This database can be accessed by 39 regional minority-purchasing councils and hundreds of corporations across the country.
Entering its twentieth year of operation, bTrade is a profitable and growing software technology company with headquarters based in Glendale, California. bTrade continues to enhance its Managed File Transfer solutions and help organizations across every industry gain control and oversight of the movement of critical corporate data to facilitate data growth, reduce security risk, and improve IT and business efficiency.

“This certification recognizes bTrade as a minority-owned business and as an organization willing to fulfill the council’s stringent requirements for designation as an MBE,” said Frank Guzman, onsite auditor for the SCMSDC. “We are proud to work with professional organizations such as bTrade to help them become part of a distinguished group of minority owned businesses that make California and the United States flourish economically,” he added.
To receive MBE certification, a company must be 51% minority owned, operated and controlled by a U.S. citizen, while meeting strict standards which demonstrate business solidarity.
